Attending: 44 as of 4/19

Kresge Auditorium77 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, Massachusetts 02139

Thirty years ago, a group of young parents, activists & Yiddishists came together with creativity and dedication to help revive Boston Workmen's Circle. We will honor and celebrate our continued work with this inter-generational participatory festival celebrating 30 years of secular Jewish culture, education, Yiddishkayt, and social justice at Boston Workmen's Circle. We will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of A Besere Velt, Boston Workmen's Circle Yiddish Community Chorus.

We are thrilled to honor Jenny Silverman, Dove Kent, and Sherry Nāmakaola Mayrent for their transformative leadership within the Boston Workmen’s Circle, Jewish social justice community, and contributions to Yiddishkayt music and culture.

The program will feature: Performances by A Besere Velt Yiddish Chorus, Shule Students & Radical Purim Players • Interactive History & Art Projects • Lectures from Dove Kent & Sherry Mayrent • Post-Festival Reception to celebrate Jenny Silverman's retirement • and more!

Whether you are brand new to BWC or have played a role in creating this legacy, this will be an opportunity to be a part of the unique community that we continue to create together.
