Thank YOU for supporting voter choice. I am all in favor of changing the voting system. We need better leaders to step up and run for office……. And they need the ability to win an election without spending a fortune running.

I want to know if there are chapter meetings close to Lexington and NOT in Boston. Also I can not be active until after the November election as I am active with Raise Up Ma and the Fair share Amendment. I would like to get to know folks near me and learn as much as I can to become active in 2019.

I just wrote a letter to The Landmark, the Wachusett region’s local paper, and will carry an RVC poster in the Northampton’s Women’s March. I would like to receive speaker training.

I think it would be great to add the following ideas for helping:

Host a house party for your friends and have a speaker come to introduce RCV (We’ll even help you organize the party).

Introduce your town select board or city council to RCV as an option for local elections (We’ll walk you through the steps).

Invite a speaker to your local action group (indivisible, women’s march huddle, etc)

Volunteer to become the point person for your town (We’ll teach you how).

I would like to interface with your group in the hopes of reaching out to fellow Democrats living the Vancouver region. Our goal as Democrats Abroad to encourage, educate and promote active participation in our shared love of Democracy while living in Canada.
