Want to learn about Ranked Choice Voting and how it can significantly improve elections here in Massachusetts and beyond?
You are cordially invited to join us on the afternoon of November 11th at 2:00 pm for a Benefit Party and Confection Election at the home of Jonathan Goldman!
The party will include a brief talk by Linda Castronovo, educational speaker for Voter Choice Massachusetts, on the topic of Ranked Choice Voting: what is it? how does it work? and how can it make our democracy stronger in Massachusetts?
What’s a Confection Election? Sample four different delicious democratic delicacies (oh yes, there will be pie), and have the opportunity to rank your favorites in order of preference. Then, we'll see the results tabulated in real-time using the Ranked Choice / Instant Runoff method!
We kindly suggest a $20 donation to help raise funds for Voter Choice Massachusetts, the non-partisan, non-profit organization in Mass. committed to bettering our democracy through transparent, good-government electoral reform. You'll hear about their progress gaining endorsements from The Boston Globe, Jim McGovern, Seth Moulton, Bill Galvin, and a host of others.
You’ll get to mix, mingle, and mind-meld with other fellow reformers ready to restore our voting system, plus: sample sweets and rank your treats!
Seating is limited to 25, so please RSVP below if you can make it.
