Boston Women's March

On January 21st, a large number of VCMA volunteers attended the Boston Women's March, as advocates for the idea that Ranked Choice Voting would be a fundamentally beneficial change to our elections. Over 400 concerned citizens joined up with our movement.

We gathered to march within a crowd of thousands; 175,000 in total, according to a spokeswoman for the mayor's office.

Our volunteers at Voter Choice MA, many of whom doubled as participants and active supporters of the marchers, spent our time educating the public about the ways in which Ranked Choice Voting can promote a greater diversity of candidates running for office. Our message: when more voices are empowered to run for office, we all benefit.
